Much like Rory Gilmore, I too live in a world of books.

(If you're not familiar with Rory's heartwarming speech from when she graduated Chilton in season 3 of Gilmore Girls, please click here)

As a child, I grew up going to the library every week with my Mom and my 2 brothers. We would each pick out a stack to take home with us and read throughout the week. Every Summer my Mom made sure we each signed up for the library's Summer Reading Challenge so that we would each get a free voucher for a McDonald's hamburger at the end of the Summer.

I'm forever grateful for that, and not just because I love fast food ♥

I've been reading ever since, although my tastes have certainly developed and changed over the years. Here are some of my favorite reads from throughout my life.

Books I Enjoyed as a Child

I loved books by Maud Hart Lovelace, Louis Sachar, Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, Ann M Martin, Francine Pascal, Judy Blume, and many more.

Books I Enjoyed as a Teen

Once I discovered YA, there was no going back. I was obsessed with anything by Meg Cabot. I also enjoyed Sarah Dessen, Siobhan Vivian, Jenny Han, Blake Nelson, The Harry Potter Series. I wish I had kept track of my reading during this time because I read so many books during Winter and Summer breaks from school.

Oh, and I can't lie. I totally devoured The Twilight Series. But who didn't? Lol.

Books I Enjoy Now

Currently I enjoy contemporary romance, chick lit, cozy mysteries, as well as some thrillers. Some of my favorite romance writers are Karina Halle, RS Grey, Jill Shalvis. I'm just diving into the cozy mystery genre so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you stick around for more bookish content.
