Some Snaphots from The Beach

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday! I hope you are all having a nice weekend. I just got back from the beach yesterday so I'm working on my weekend chores like laundry, mowing the grass, and cleaning up the first floor of my house.

I'm also working on my Camp NaNoWriMo project so I thought I would pop in here and show a couple of photos from the beach.

My BF and I went to Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, Delaware. Even though it was a short trip (Just Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon) we had a great time. We wore our masks to get to and from the beach and made sure that we were socially distanced.

Luckily, there weren't that many people on the far side of the jetty so we set our chairs down there and enjoyed some sunshine!

It just felt so good to stick my feet in the water. My BF went out and boogie boarded for a while but I get kind of freaked out when my feet touch shells and stuff (lol) so I just stayed in the shallow areas. The water was a bit cold but I feel like once you get your whole body in, it probably doesn't bother you anymore.

Overall it was an amazing trip! I was feeling sad at the beginning of the Summer because I was worried that we wouldn't be able to go to the beach at all. My parents have a house in Lewes and it seemed like a bummer that it would be sitting empty all season.

But where there's a will, there's a way. Now it's back to the grind. I've got dinner in the crock pot and I'm going to go get some writing done.

Until next time,
Marian
