NaNoWriMo Diaries: Camp NaNo Day 4

Good evening, friends! It's been quite the day. I woke up in Delaware and now I'm back in Pennsylvania. See, I was supposed to spend the weekend with my family at my parent's beach house. We like to get together down there to spend time as a family.

But we wound up coming home early. I'm thankful for the time that we got to spend together, but it was probably the right choice. With the pandemic, it's really not safe to be going to places like the beach or the pool or out on the town. Often when we're down there we like to pay the $2 bus fee and head into the town of Rehoboth.

But, none of that really feels appropriate right now. It's important that we all social distance so that we can keep each other safe. Therefore, after spending a lot of time around the house watching TV (we did have a Hamilton movie night), we decided to come home a day early.

So, I'm at home tonight. I just got back from taking my dog on a walk and now it's time to get to work on my Camp NaNoWriMo project. I thought I'd create a blog post tonight to share a peek into my writing process.

I think that for now, I'm going to participate in some 10 minute writing sprints. The first one will start at 8:30. I need to take a look through my notes as well as get myself a drink so that I can settle into my writing.

Until next time,
